Admits to being born sometime in the 20th century, has been involved with music all her life. Presently living a simple, quiet life with no pets and only a few surviving houseplants; travels nationally throughout the United States and internationally as well to present concerts, workshops, perform at weddings, memorial services, private and corporate functions, in addition to her musical care-giving at the bedside of patients who are ill, injured or dying.
Family includes five beautiful daughters, five delightful grandchildren, four brothers, one sister, two step-sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and an extended family of friends which circles the globe, each adding dimension and color to her life. Many hobbies, such as photography, humor and dance, are incorporated in her professional life. Sammie enjoys the scenic beauty of the northwest outdoors - long walks along the beach, in the rain forests or on mountain trails, and the beautiful rolling hills and horsefarms in the Bluegrass country.
Primary focus continues to be creating and making available new music for therapeutic use in healing, upliftment and fun.
